combines physical and educational components of water safety through 1-on-1 float lessons, water safety milestones and Josh the Otter water safety education. The center also serves as the National Training Facility for instructors who want to learn water safety and floating techniques.
Funds collected from Float 4 Life & Josh the Otter go back into the Joshua Collingsworth Memorial Foundation to produce more educational materials designed to spread water safety awareness across the nation.
Float 4 Life offers a variety of Float Lesson Plans to accommodate your schedule and lifestyle. Our Instructors are trained to teach children as young as 6 months old how to recover to a back float if they were in a water emergency. Each 1-on-1 lesson is customized to a child's ability in the water based on their stage of development and readiness.
Float 4 Life has also identified water safety skills that are compatible with early childhood development. These skills are outlined in our Water Safety Milestone Chart, a guide that will document your child's float progression.
*Lesson credits will be made on referrals after Float 4 Life receives their registration form and payment for training. To be eligible for lesson credits, the person you refer must not already be a customer of Float 4 Life.
Parents of new students should fill out the Registration form for each child who will attend classes.
The form must be filled out before the start of your first class.
Please be as thorough as possible. We can't wait to see you at our Float Center!
